This week has been an exciting week for the Hemingway’s team as we welcomed our new restaurant manager, Arvid Noack, to the fold. Hailing originally from Germany, Arvid has worked in hospitality for over 20 years and brings a wealth of experience Hemingway’s. Relocating from Sydney, Arvid is excited about the challenge Hemingway’s presents and sees a great future for our restaurant.
Arvid’s background is in hospitality and was trained primarily in five-star hotels around Europe, before completing a formal qualification in Hotel Management back in Germany, then deciding to travel the world. Arriving in Australia 12 years ago, Arvid has since worked in a range of boutique and large corporate restaurant chains in Sydney, until recently decided it was time for a sea change. Relocating to Airlie Beach with his young family was a decision Arvid made to re-establish the work-life balance.
